Cheek fillers are injections into the cheekbone area that can restore lost volume or more sharply define facial bone structure. Cheek filler is used to add support and lift the midface, which helps reduce nasolabial folds and improve the sunken lower eyelid, known as a tear trough. Numbing cream is offered for all appointments. Dermal Fillers are a substance our body already makes called hyaluronic acid. There are many different brands of dermal filler (ex. Juvederm, Restalyne, Teosyal, and more), but all contain the same substance “hyaluronic acid”. It work at “plumping” the skin in areas where lost collagen occurs. Prime examples are under the eye (tear troughs), smile lines (nasolabial folds), lips and cheeks. There are many areas that hyaluronic acid can be injected to correct and enhance areas (ex. chin, jawline, nose, marionette lines, acne scars, etc.).
