Service Description
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process. The micro-injuries trigger the release of cytokines and growth factors that lead to the remodeling of collagen and elastin. Microneedling, in other words, is collagen induction therapy. It is recommended to undergo a series of 3-4 treatments separated by 6 weeks each for optimal results. One maintenance treatment every 6-9 months is recommended to continue long-lasting results. Treatment areas: The most common areas to treat are the face, neck and decollete. Your provider will apply a topical numbing agent to reduce any pain or discomfort during this procedure. Contraindications: Microneedling cannot be done on an area with an active bacterial, viral or fungal infection. It is contraindicated in patients with active acne, skin related autoimmune disorders, rashes, warts, skin cancer, patients on anticoagulants, women who are pregnant or lactating, history of recent ablative dermal procedures, actinic keratosis, rosacea, diabetes, and keloid scars. Before your appointment: For best results, it is beneficial to use a retinol product on your skin for 6 weeks prior to starting a microneedling series. You should avoid any retinol products on your skin for 3 days prior to your appointment. Side effects: risks and possible complications: Side effects are minimal with this type of treatment and typically include minor flaking or dryness of the skin. After your appointment: After your treatment, your practitioner will send you home with two products to use while your skin is recovering. Your skin may appear pink or red, like a sun burn, for 24-48 hrs after your treatment. Minor bruising is possible depending on the aggressiveness of the procedure. Post treatment instructions include no sweaty exercise or sun exposure for 72 hours. You also cannot wash your face for 24 hours after your treatment. Results: Microneedling is great for patients who want to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, large pores and texture issues. If you cancel after the 24 hours period or do a no show you will be charged a 50$ fee, that must be paid prior to rebooking again along with the deposit.

VIRTUAL ASSESSMENT Prior to any Aesthetic Services A good faith exam is a medical evaluation that a licensed healthcare provider performs to determine if a procedure or treatment is appropriate for a patient. It's also known as a pre-authorization exam, clearance exam, initial exam, or physical exam. Our NP will go over medical history, allergies, any previous services. She will go over how procedure is done step by step. She will go over any side effects and aftercare instructions. We want you to ensure that you are educated thoroughly prior to your service. You will receive a link via text, for your Virtual Assessment to be completed with one of our Highly Trained NP Jenna prior to your appointment. We typically aim to get it completed 24hours prior to your appointment. Virtual Assessment/ GFE is needed prior to service. Please log-in at least 10 minutes early and make sure you have access to good internet. If you are having problems with the link, please reach out to our Spa Assistant Christine 330-906-9763. If you miss you GFE with our NP there will be a 30$ rebooking. We personally reach out to you to ensure that we have the perfect time selected by YOU. FIRST TIME CLIENTS Effective July 2, 2025 all first time clients are REQUIRED TO DO A TWO WEEK FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT. CONSENT FORMS All services performed by Registered Nurse, REQUIRE you to fill out consent forms and questionnaires, they will be sent to your email from Aesthetic Records. All consent forms MUST be completed prior to appointments. If you have question, please contact Christine our Spa. Please have your forms filled out prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you are unable to fill out forms prior to your scheduled appointment please arrive 15 minutes early. If forms are not filled prior and you do not arrive to the office 15 minutes prior to your appointment. Your appointment may need to be rescheduled and a fee of $50 will apply.
